24.06.11 Skechers Shape-Ups

I need shoes.
That's what i thought this morning when i left for the office.

After work, i went to the shop and saw these Skechers Shape-Ups. I've heard a lot about them, not sure if it's all true but i was curious enough to try them on. Heaven !

I bought 2 pair of them, 1 rather sporty, the other classic enough for work.
I can't wait to find out if they actually work ;o)

A new me, naturel and beautiful

Hi,

As usual, I overthink when i can't sleep and so I thought of updating the blog.

Today, I went for badminton with some friends. Just outside in a shaded part of a parc. I love playing badminton, I used to play in a club when I was younger and I realised how much I've missed it.The best part of playing with my friends is that with one of them I can play for fun, warm up and the other one is a real challenge. As it has been years since I properly played, I love this challenge and I am determined to win a proper match in a few months ;o) Just add it to my list of plans for the new me !

Another one of my new plans is finding a club where I can play badminton 1x a week starting from September. As long as the weather stays nice, I'll play outside with my friends but as it's time for a change, I want to break the habit of hibernating in winter ;o)

I want to enjoy life more often, especially in the dark period of winter. While living in Scotland, I realised that I've had enough of standing still in my life. I've enjoyed part of it, went through some really tough times, I've gotten to know myself again and now I want to move on. Together with a new me, naturel and beautiful I'll be able to survive ;o)

I still have to learn to be patient but I discovered that the best way to make time pass by is by keeping busy. So from september on that's exactly what I'll do ;o)

So far my activity schedule will look like this:

Work Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5pm

Monday from 7pm to 10.30pm : photography course
Tuesday from 8.30pm to 10.30pm : teach French
Wednesday from 8.30pm to 9.30pm : teach music / play badminton (alternating weeks)
Thursday from 8.30pm to 10.30pm : teach French
Friday from 7pm to 10.30pm : photography course
Saturday from 8.45am to 12.15pm : photography course
Saturday from 2pm to ... : do the weekly shopping LOL
Sunday from 10am to 11am : teach Dutch
Sunday from 2pm to ... : visit family

I really look forward to the busy schedule. Keeping myself busy will prevent any overthinking and before I went to Scotland, I used to teach daily so I'm used to the long hours after 5pm.

Hey, guess what, it's finally cooling down so time to go to sleep !

Mid July 2010

Hiiiiiiiiii,
wow, i can't believe how fast time goes by.
last year around this time, i was unemployed and not really enjoying life but now i'm back from my adventure in Scotland and working in Antwerp again. Made a couple of new friends both in Scotland and Belgium.

I've got so many things i want to do and i'm making plans again. I want to go study photography in evening school, play badminton to lose some weight again (and enjoy the nice weather while it lasts) and go out again. I've enjoyed the time in scotland when i was alone, completely on my own. I learned a lot from it and now it's time for me to meet new people xD

Anyway, the point of today's blog was to let you all know that i'm gonna try (again) to post things more often, probably mostly pictures xD

i guess i can now say that im really not good at keeping a blog LOL
its been over a month since i last posted and many things have happened.

i guess the most recent thing is that i went to the mountains in the Argyll area and made some amazing pictures. I cant upload them here though coz its about 150 pictures.

ive put them on facebook coz im more online there than anywhere else lol
so you can always check on facebook.

im going back tomorrow to make some more pictures.
when i get back, i'll post them on facebook and in picasa (you dont need to be a member of picasa to watch pictures)

i hope you all have a great beginning of 2010 and i promise i'll put the pictures online as soon as possible :D

Already mid-november !!!

Hiiiiiii,

Its been a while again, i know !
Halloween was fun but according to some colleagues it was a bit disappointing at IBM.
Only 10% actually dressed up and the prizes werent that great.

I went to Belgium and had great fun though !
We went out on Friday and Saturday night and it was great !
Thanks a lot guys for the great evenings ! I miss you and hope to see you again soon !

In the mean while, its already November 10th, which means tomorrow is a bankholiday in Belgium so i have a day off and im also off on Thursday and Friday coz my mom is bringing my car to Scotland !!! When i was in Belgium, i made a list of things to put in my car so my mom stuffed it and shell bring the stuff tomorrow. Theyll be going through the tunnel and then its about 900kms drive.

I already went there to pay and I saw the room they will stay in and its so lovely. I think they will like the bathroom very much coz its a large shower, one of those corner models. Really nice!

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that i havent forgotten you. Its just a bit busy this week...
The internet in my apartment is working but very very very slow. Uploading 1 picture of 100kb takes about a full 5 minutes.

Well, for the coming days i wont be online much but i guess starting from next weekend ill be driving around and making lots of lovely pictures again...
Theres so many places i want to visit but i need my car for it so get ready for more pictures soon ;o)
